Objectives

  • Gain a better understanding of the national policy landscapes related to non-profit OA publishing amongst governments and research funders, and policy funding arms, and institutional policymaking;
  • Stimulate the development of institutional and national policies that support non-profit OA publishing with funding;
  • Build capacity on financial models amongst national and institutional policymakers and research funder to optimise costs, and help sustain non-profit OA publishing.

Research into the regional, national and international OS policy landscape of nonprofit scholarly publishing and Diamond OA and its funding arms

D4.2 Actionable, evidence-based and community-validated recommendations for institutional leadership, national governments and research agencies
